Fred Corwin, 85, of Sandusky, died Jan. 10 in Good Samaritan Hospital in that city after an extended illness. He was a retired railroader and had worked in the Ford plant at Milan, Mich. for several years.
Before moving to Michigan he worked many years on the Wabash Railroad and lived in Liberty Center.
He is survived by his wife, Lutie; two sons, Perry, of Liberty Center, and Clarence, of Napoleon; two daughters, Mrs. Helen Krueger, Sandusky, and Mrs. Ruth Rohdy, Flat Rock, Mich.; arid sister, Mrs. Mary Manley, Texas, O., and nine grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren.
His first wife, Bertha Bortel, died in 1928, and a brother, George died six days before him.
He was a member of Immanuel United Church of Christ in Sandusky.
Funeral services were held Saturday at the Fiser Funeral Home, Liberty Center, with the Rev. Alton Loar of Sandusky, officiating. Burial was in Young Cemetery.
