Gertrude I. Conrad, 88, of Liberty Center died Thursday at her residence.
Born Nov. 13, 1920, in Liberty Center, she was the daughter of Clarence and Aro-Binnie (Laver) Moore. On Nov. 29, 1941, she married Harold G. Conrad, who preceded her in death Oct. 14, 2001.
A homemaker, she retired in 1982 from Campbell Soup Supply Co. in Napoleon and was previously employed with the McCully Egg Co. She was a member of Colton United Methodist Church and its Women's Society.
She is survived by two daughters, Linda G. Jones of Liberty Center and Lucille G. Massau of Wauseon; two sons, Larry G. (Diana) of Wauseon and Lowell G. (Sharon) of Liberty Center; six grandchildren; and 13 great-grandchildren.
She was also preceded in death by two sisters, Ada Schmidt and Bea Shepard; and two grandchildren.
Services will be 11 a.m. Monday at Wright-Hobbs Funeral Home, Liberty Center, Rev. Don Hague officiating. Interment will follow at Youngs Cemetery, Liberty Center.
Visitation will be 2-8 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.
The family suggests memorial contributions be made to Hospice of Henry County.
