Kathryn Connolly, 85, a former Napoleon resident, died Monday in Good Samaritan Hospital, McAllen, Texas.
She was born in Damascus Township, Henry County, on March 6, 1895, to Sherman and Susan (March) Meyers.
The deceased was a member of St. Paul’s United Methodist Church, Napoleon.
Surviving are two sons, Dr. Julian E. Connolly, Chicago, and Dr. Chancey Connolly Jr., McAllen, Texas; a daughter, Alice Campbell, Ypsilanti, Michigan; 11 grandchildren and three great-grandchildren; a brother, Charles Meyers, Toledo; and two sisters, Abbie Daum, Liberty Center, and Gay Allen, Waterville.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Chancey Connolly Sr., in 1976.
Services will be held at 10 a.m. Thursday in the Walker Mortuary, Napoleon, the Reverend H. Glenn Crabtree officiating. Interment will be in Young Cemetery, Liberty Center.
Friends may call at the mortuary from 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday.
The family suggests that memorials may be made to the Heart Association.
