Harry D. Clifton, 80, Route 2, Liberty Center, died Wed. in the Northcrest Nursing Home, Napoleon, following an eight month illness. He was the son of Charles and Adah (Haag) Clifton, and was born April 28, 1890, in Liberty Center. A retired farmer, he spent his lifetime in the Liberty Center area.
Surviving are his wife, the former Helen Croninger; two daughters, Mrs. Martha Minnich, Springfield, Virginia, and Mrs. Marie Harrell, Elizabethton, Tenn., five grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
Funeral services were held Saturday in the Fiser Funeral Home, Liberty Center, with Reverend Joseph Burnett of the Liberty Center United Methodist Church, officiating. Burial was in the Young Cemetery.
