Adah Haag Clifton, the eldest child of Daniel and Martha Haag, was born Aug.-16, 1860, in Mt. Eaton, O., and passed away Feb. 24, 1947, at the age of eighty-six years, six months and eight days. She moved to Liberty Center, O., with her parents when a small child. She was united in marriage April 2, 1884, to Charles A. Clifton, who preceded her in death. She was a member of the Methodist church and a charter member of the Order of Eastern Star.

To this union was born one son, Harry D. Clifton.

She leaves to mourn her departure one son, Harry, of Liberty Center, O.; two grandchildren, Mrs. Martha Minnich of Batavia, O., and Miss Marie Clifton of Toledo., and two great-grandchildren, Sonya and Jeannette Minnich, of Batavia.
