Charles Henry Chrobarger, son of Samuel and Kathryn Andrex Chrobarger, was born in Liberty township, September 20, 1877, and passed away at his home in Harrison Twp., Henry County, Ohio, at 9:30 a.m. March 12, 1943, having attained the age of 65 year, 5 months and 12 days. Henry as he was affectionately called by all who knew him grew to manhood in and around Napoleon, and on September 6th, 1903, he was united in Holy Wedlock to Miss Jennie Stella Benskin. To this union five children were born, two daughters, Kathryn and Lucy having preceded their father in death. Henry was employed by the Northwestern Telephone Service Co. of Napoleon as a lineman for thirty years and later by the Grand Rapids Mutual Telephone Co. until about two years ago at which time illness forced his retirement. Those who remain to mourn his passing are his wife Jennie, on son Harry of Lorain, O., and two daughter, Mrs. Mildred Sickmiller of Marion, O., and Mrs Lester Durham of Napoleon. Four grandchildren, Norman and Robert Day of Denver, Colo.; Sharon Chrobarger and Carolyn Sickmiller. One brother, Mr. William Obenour of Pittsford, Mich. Other relatives and a host of friends.
Services were held at the Boyer Mortuary March 15th, at 2:00 p.m., with Rev. Stockmeier officiating and interment was made in Young’s cemetery at Liberty Center.
