Mrs. Carpenter, known by all her friends as Arcie, spent her youth in Fulton County and was a member of the Skeels School club.
On Dec. 24, 1886, she was united in marriage to Robert Carpenter of Liberty Center. Their first year was spent in Fulton county, moving to the Henry Carpenter homestead north of Liberty Center the second year, a portion of which farm was their permanent home until 1906 when they moved to LIberty Center.

Mr. Carpenter preceded her in death on June 21, 1925.
