Guy A. Carpenter, 66, died Wednesday night in the home of his daughter, Mrs. Vera E. Kamm, in Toledo, after a 12-year illness.
Mr. Carpenter was born in Liberty Center and was employed as a carpenter until 12 years ago. He was formerly a member of the Carpenters Union.
Also surviving are his wife, Edith C.; daughter, Mrs. Grace L. Kamm, Toledo: brother, Otto O., Toledo; sisters, Mrs. Blanche Knoll, Napoleon; Mrs. Vida Swartzlandcr, Toeldo, anti Mrs. Velma Wahl, Defiance, and four grandchildren.
Services were conducted Saturday at 1 p.m. in the Walker-Wenner mortuary by the Rev. Lowell Garvin, pastor of the Jackman Road Church of the Nazarene, with burial in Liberty Center.
