Hannah Buchanan was born in the state of New York, April 24th, 1817, died in Toledo, O., February 3d, 1898, aged 80 years, 9 months and 10 days.
The deceased came to Huron Co., O., with her parents at the age of five years, and in 1869 she came to Wauseon, Fulton Co., and, shortly thereafter emigrated to California, where she resided for six years, afterward returned to Fulton Co., where she lived until a few years ago, when she removed to toledo, where she resided at the time of her death.
She was a member of the Women’s Christian Temperance Union and affiliated with the M. E. church. After a good old age she has gone to the realities of the Eternal World. She leaves many relatives and friends to mourn their loss.
The funeral was conducted from the Reformed church in Liberty Center, Feb. 6th, by the writer, the discourse being based on a passage of scripture found in 1st Cor. xv: 55. Interment in Young’s cemetery.
