Arthur Z. Bryan was born Aug. 25, 1852 at Fostoria, O., and died June 19, 1921 at Liberty Center, O., being 68 years, 9 mo. and 24 days.
When a young man he moved to Henry Co., O., where he died.
He married Etta Lamb in 1873. To this union was born one son, Arthur Z. Bryan, Jr. His wife preceded him in death many years. In 1894 he was united in marriage to Dilla Ehrgood Free, and to this union were born three children, Jett C. Bryan, Bessie Bryan Saul, and D. C. Bryan.
He leaves a wife, four children, 1 grandchild, Bryan Saul, and two brothers, John B. Bryan, of Leipsic, O., besides many other relatives and a host of friends to mourn his departure.
He was a member of Defiance Commandery No. 30 and has been an attendant of the Methodist Church for many years.
Funeral services were held at the M. E. Church in Liberty Center, Wednesday, June 23, conducted by the Blue Lodge F. & A. M. of Liberty Center, sermn by Rev. J. D. Parker.
