Obituary: Harriet Jane Brubaker Sept. 16, 1919 - Sept. 18, 2002 Harriet Jane Brubaker, 83, of Napoleon died Wednesday evening at Northcrest Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, Napoleon. Born Sept. 16, 1919, in Napoleon, she was the daughter of Wendell and Leuna (Bowers) West. In November of 1945, she married Lowell W. Brubaker, who survives in Napoleon. She is also survived by a daughter, Arlene Carse of New Braunfels, Texas; two sons, Thomas of Napoleon and Theodore of Bellevue; two sisters, Charlotte Baden of Bryan and Virginia Deblin of Napoleon; six grandchildren; and one great-grandchild. She was preceded in death by a son, Tim Brubaker. A family memorial will be held at a later date at Youngs Cemetery, Liberty Center. The family suggests memorials be made to Northcrest Nursing and Rehabilitation Center.
