Melvin C. Brink Sr., Napoleon, 67, died suddenly in his home Monday afternoon.
He retired in 1965 from the Harper Supply Company, Napoleon.
A U.S. Army W.W. II Veteran, he was a member of the Christ United Methodist Church, and the Bert G. Taylor American Legion Post #300, Napoleon.
He was born in Holgate April 21, 1908, the son of Charles and Caroline (Meyers) Brink.
On April 13, 1929, he married Helen Zook and she survives.
Also surviving are one son, Melvin Brink Jr., Napoleon; three daughters, Mrs. Jacqueline Vandenbrock, Napoleon, Mrs. John (Carolyn) Scheele, Bryan, and Mrs. Thomas (Mary Ann) Swartzlander, Defiance; one sister, Mrs. Marie Hefflinger, Napoleon; 21 grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
Services will be held Thursday at Walker Mortuary, Napoleon, at 2 p.m. with Reverend Kenneth Jenkins officiating.
Graveside rites will be conducted at Youngs Cemetery, Liberty Center, by the Bert G. Taylor Post.
Friends may call Wednesday from 3 to 5 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. at Walker Mortuary.
The family asks that memorials be made to the building fund of the Christ United Methodist Church, Napoleon.
