Mrs. Estella B. Bressler, 89, passed away Wednesday morning following a long lllness. She was a member of the Methodist Church.
Surviving are daughters, Mrs. Herma Murray, Mrs. Gladys Yackee of Liberty Center, step-daughter Mrs. Francis Fouty of Kerrville, Texas, two grandchildren, Mrs. Grace Minnich of Bowling Green, Ford Murray of Muskegon, Michigan, step-granddaughter, Mrs. Cathrine Singleton of Kerrville, Texas, and five great-grandchildren.
Services at residence at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, with Rev. David Eichar officiating.
Obituary
Estella B. Bressler, daughter of Martha and John P. Whiteman, was born in Clyde, O., March 4, 1866, and died Oct. 27, 1954 at her home in Liberty Center at the age of 88 years, 7 months and 23 days.
At an early age she moved with her parents from Seneca county to Henry county, settling on a farm northwest of Liberty Center.
On Dec. 30, 1886 she was married to George B. Graffice. This union was blessed with the birth of one daughter, Herma. Mr. Graffice passed away in October 1893.
On April 2, 1899, she was married to Henry W. Brewer. To this union one daughter was born, Helen Gladys.
On April 2, 1949, Mr. and Mrs. Bressler celebrated their golden wedding anniversary at their home in Liberty Center.
Most of her life was spent on farms in Seneca and Henry counties. For the past thirty-four years she had resided in Liberty Center where she and her husband lived for thirty-two years and where he passed away on Dec. 13, 1952.
She was a member of the Liberty Chapel United Brethren church before transferring to the Liberty Center Methodist church in 1921.
She leaves two daughters, Herma Murray and Gladys Yackee of Liberty Center, and a step-daughter, Frances Fouty, of Kerrville, Texas. She is also survived by a sister, Mrs. Frank Daum, and a brother, Milton Whiteman, of Defiance; two grandchildren, Mrs. Grace Minnich, of Bowling Green, Ford Murray of Muskegon, Mich.; a step-granddaughter, Mrs. Catherine Singleton, Kerrville, Texas; great-grandchildren Max, Lyndamae, Michael Minnich, [smudged] Neil Minnich, and Judy Singleton.
Funeral services for Mrs. Bressler were conducted by Rev. David L. Eichar at her home on Saturday, Oct. 30 at 2 o’clock. She was laid to rest to Young’s cemetery.
