Madonna G. Braucher March 18, 1930 - Nov. 19, 2004
Madonna G. Braucher, 74, of Walton, Ind. died Friday at the Logansport Memorial Hospital, Logansport, Ind.
Born March 18, 1930, in Toledo, she was the daughter of Oscar and Goldia (Relyea) Dawson. On Dec. 4, 1954, she married Lester K. Braucher, who preceded her in death.
She was a housewife and mother. She worked at McCully Egg Co. of Liberty Center for over 20 years, retiring in 1982. She was a former member of the Liberty Center Wesleyan Church and attended the Walton Christian Church. She was a Liberty Center Girl Scout leader, a Liberty Center Fire Department Auxilliary member, where she was an EMT, and a member of the Pythian Sisters.
Surviving are two sons, Walter of Herrington, Kan., and Jay of Lima; two daughters, Judy (David) Parks of Lima and Carol Ann (Oscar) Hallene of Toledo; one brother, Robert O. Dawson of Copper Cove, Texas; eight grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
She was also preceded in death by a brother, Theodre Dawson, and a great-grandchild.
Services will be held at 10 a.m. Wednesday in the Liberty Center Wesleyan Church, Rev. Wayne Goldsmith officiating. Interment will follow at Young Cemetery, Liberty Center.
Visitation will be from 2-9 p.m. Tuesday at the Walker Mortuary of Napoleon and one hour prior to the service on Wednesday.
The family suggests memorials be made to the American Heart Association or to the Shriner's Children Hospital.
