Claudius A. Bowker was born in Liberty Center Nov. 15, 1874, and died at the home of his mother in the town of his birth Feb. 20, 1919, aged 44 years, 3 months and 5 days.

Since the death of his father, D. K. Bowker, Jan. 11, 1897, Claud has lived with his mother caring for her as a dutiful son. When not at his place of employment he was always at home.

Claud had a very large circle ol friends both old and young and the esteem in which he was held is attested by the large attendance at his funeral and the beautiful floral tributes.

He leaves to mourn his mother, two brothers and one sister.

Funeral services were held at the Reformed church, Sunday Jan. 23rd, Rev. D. E. Martz officiating. Interment in Young's cemetery.
