Sacred to the Memory of Claudius A. Bowker, who Passed Away February 20, 1919.
One long, sad year has gone by since our loved one was called suddenly away by cruel death, and left us to finish the sad journey alone. We miss him more and more each day, but memory keeps him ever near while tears of silence flow. We seem to hear the echo of his welcome footsteps and loving, cheerful voice. In memory we see the dear smile for all who knew him, and the generous true-heartedness in all his kindly ways.
His heart-broken mother grieves over her loss, in her loneliness today the same as one year ago. The flowers we lay on the sacred earth where our dear one rests wither away and decay, but his memory will be held dear as long as memory lasts.
His mother, Mima Bowker, the other relatives and the many friends who wish to join us in this memoriam, to our dear Claude
