June Boulis, 79, passed away Friday evening, July 31, 2009, in her Liberty Center home.
June was born Sept. 8, 1929, in McClure, to the late Rollin Lee and Gladys Leverne (Frazier) Browning. She married Kenneth Dale Boulis on Sept. 26, 1945, and he preceded her in death on Feb. 6, 1994.
Two sisters, Dorothy Browning and Lorna Baden, also preceded her in death.
June was a homemaker and member of the Liberty Center United Methodist Church and Liberty Center American Legion Auxiliary. She enjoyed sewing, crochet, golf, fishing with her husband in Florida and feeding “her squirrels.” June will be remembered for her gentle nature, kind heart and especially for her loving devotion to family.
Left to cherish her memory are daughters, Karen (Robert) Burditt, Janet (James) Hoffman and Susan (Larry) Gerken, all of Napoleon; son, Randal (Rennee) Boulis, Delta; grandchildren, Steve Boulis, Daniel Burditt, Dana Skinner, Jenny Spangler, Nicole March, Tobi Ripke, Kirby and Aaron Gerken; 11 great-grandchildren; sister-in-law, LaRena (Donald) Callahan, Liberty Center; and special friend, Keith ‘Fuzz' Slee, Colton.
Visitation will be today from 2-8 p.m. at Wright-Hobbs Funeral Home, Liberty Center. Funeral services are 11 a.m. Tuesday at June’s church v^ith the Rev. Don Hague and Rev. Monte Moore presiding. Interment will be at Youngs Cemetery, Liberty Center, followed by a luncheon in the church hall.
