Rosella Marie Bergstedt, 81, of Delta, Ohio passed away Saturday, April 16, 2011 at St. Luke’s Hospital, surrounded by her loving family.
Rosella was bom in her childhood home to the late Frank and Ema (Boesling) Engler. Also preceding Rosella in death is her husband of 58 years. Louis Bergstedt; and three brothers, Charles, Burdette and Martin Engler along with a sister, Eileen Sickmiller.
Rosella is survived by sons, Kenneth (Karen) Bergstedt, Paul (Linda) Bergstedt, Randy (Zoe Ann) Bergstedt; and a daughter, Lois (Steve) Bell; grandchildren: Kevin (Tabitha), Kurt (Marla), Kyle (Ashley) and Kimberly Bergstedt, Amber (Oliver) Phillips, Amanda (Perry) Cox, Tyler (Laura) Bergstedt, Alyssa and Angela Bergstedt, Jeffrey Bell, Stephanie (Kevin) Saghy, Joshua (Lakiva) Bell, Katherine Bell; great-grandchildren, Kaden, Kassidee, Kelly and Victoria Bergstedt, Klayton, Lauren and Eli Phillips, Derrick Bell; and a sister, Hilda Bretz.
Rosella was a member of St. Paul Evangelical Lutheran Church in Liberty Center, where she taught Sunday school for 37 years and was active in the Women of the Church. Rosella was known for her pies and cakes, which she would bring to many church and family gatherings. Rosella was an Inductee of die Henry County 4-H Hall of Fame. Rosella loved many hobbies, which include her love for birds, spending time in her garden, doing needle work and her love of baking. Rosella will be remembered for her loving nature and devotion to her family.
Visitation will be Tuesday, April 19, 2011 from 2-8 p.m. in the Wright-Habegger Funeral Home, 302 E. Maple St., Liberty Center, Ohio 43532. The Funeral Service will be held at 11 a.m. in the St. Paul Evangelical Lutheran Church, 8074 County Road T, Liberty Center, Ohio 43532, with Rev. Keith Witte officiating. Burial will follow at Youngs Cemetery in Liberty Center.
