Funeral services for Norris E. Beilharz, 71, of 378 Maple Street, Liberty Center, were held Saturday afternoon at the Croll-Wright Funeral Home in Liberty Center.
He had been in ill health for several months, and died at his home Wednesday, Nov. 5.
He was born Jan. 1,1904 in Liberty Center, the son of Herbert and Lillian (Russell) Beilharz. On May 29, 1935 he was united in marriage to Mae Smith, and she survives.
He was former owner of the Redwood Dairy Bar in Liberty Center, retiring in 1968. He was a member of the Liberty Center United Methodist Church and the L.C. Masonic Lodge, 518 F & AM.
Surviving besides his wife are two sons, Kenneth L. Van Buren, and Terry E. Defiance. One sister, Mrs. Dahrel (Lucille) Crum, Liberty Center, One brother, Virgil Beilharz, Sun City Center, Florida, three granddaughters and three grandsons.
Masonic services were conducted at the Funeral Home on Friday night.
Rev. Joseph L. Burnett officiated and interment was made in Young’s Cemetery.
