Herbert L. Beilharz, 94, Liberty Center, a retired farmer, died at the Northcrest Nursing Home, Napoleon, early Friday morning.
He was born July 27, 1879 in Liberty Center the son of Frank and Emma (Hales) Beilharz.
The deceased was a member of the United Methodist Church, Liberty Center, the Gleaner’s Lodge, and the K of P Lodge.
He was a former manager of the Mutual Telephone Company, Liberty Center, and a former member of the board of directors of the Liberty Center Elevator.
Survivors include two sons, Norris, Liberty Center, and Virgil, Sun City Center, Florida; a daughter, Mrs. Dahrel (Lucille) Crum, Liberty Center; seven grandchildren; and 17 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife, Lillian and two brothers.
Funeral services will be held Sunday at 2:30 p.m. in the Walker Mortuary, Napoleon, with Reverend Joseph Burnett, pastor of the United Methodist Church, Liberty Center, officiating. Interment will be in Young’s Cemetery, Liberty Center.
Friends may call at the mortuary from 7 to 9 p.m. Friday and from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. on Saturday.
The family requests that memorials be made to the building fund of the United Methodist Church, Liberty Center.
