Golda G. Wilcox, 79, Liberty Center, died Tuesday at the home of her daughter in Delta.
She was born November 27, 1895 in McClure the daughter of William H. and Lavina A. (Rambo) Dull. She married Clyde Beavers on February 18, 1915 and he preceded her in death. In January of 1956 she married Stanley Wilcox and he also preceded her in death.
The deceased was a member of the Gilbert-Baughman American Legion Auxiliary 492, Liberty Center, and the Liberty Center Firemen's Auxiliary.
Surviving are one daughter, Mrs. William (Dorothy) Young, Delta; two sons, Samuel Beavers, Liberty Center, and Ralph Beavers, Wauseon, 13 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren; three stepsons, Herbert Wilcox, Genoa, Robert Wilcox. Hamilton Lake, Indiana, and Clifford Wilcox, Hammond, Indiana; and eight step-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a set of twins in infancy and a son, Burl Beavers in 1974.
Funeral services will be Saturday at 1:30 p.m. in the Croll-Wright Funeral Home, Liberty Center, with Reverend Donald Fruth officiating. Interment will be in Youngs Cemetery.
Friends may call at the funeral home after 7 p.m. tonight. The Liberty Center Firemen's Auxiliary will hold memorial services tonight (Thursday) at 8 p.m.
The family suggest that memorials may be made to the American Heart Association.
