Dorothy Beavers, 66, of Liberty Center died Saturday at the Toledo Hospital.
Born in Henry County Nov. 26, 1926, she was the daughter of Perry and Edna (Watson) Corwin. In 1942, she married Kenneth Wiley, who preceded her in death in 1944. She then married Burl Beavers in 1947, and he preceded her in death in 1974.
A retired employee of the former Henry County Home, now Country View Haven, she was a member of the Liberty Center United Methodist Church, the Liberty Center V.F.W. and Fire Department auxiliaries and the Rebekah Lodge.
Surviving are three sons, Lamont Wiley and Bryce Beavers, both of Liberty Center, and Norman Beavers of Ridgeville Corners; two daughters, Charolette Olejownik of Liberty Center and Patricia Perry of Napoleon; a brother, Milton ‘Bud’ Corwin of Liberty Center; 18 grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.
Services will be held Tuesday at 1:30 p.m. in the Walker Mortuary of Napoleon, Rev. Gerald Lewis officiating. Interment will be at Youngs Cemetery.
Friends may call at the mortuary from 2 to 9 p.m. today.
Memorials may be made to a charity of the donor’s choice.
