Edward Ira Barlow was born in Liberty Center, Ohio, on March 25, 1904. On November 10, 1932, he slipped into the great beyond, having spent 28 years, seven months and 10 days in this life.
His early life was spent In and near Liberty Center, he having been baptized in the Lutheran church when a child. In the class of 1924, Edward was graduated from the high school in this place.
Soon after graduation he went to Wauseon to enter the employ of the Co-operative Association, remaining in Wauseon until about six months ago when he moved with his family to Napoleon, where he was employed by the Farm Bureau.
On June 28, 1928, Mr. Barlow was united in marriage to Miss Helen Sharpe of Liberty Center, and to this union one daughter, Norma Jean, was born.
Preceding Edward in death were one brother, Irwin, in 1906, and his father, Abraham L., in 1916.
To mourn their loss, there remains besides the loving wife and daughter, his mother, Mrs. Chas. Reighard, of Liberty Center; two brothers, Lonzo L. of Liberty Center and Ernest T. of Whitehouse; three sisters, Mrs. Gertrude Greisinger of Delta; Mrs. Leon Saneholtz of Napoleon; and Mrs Ada Conway, of Liberty Center, as well as a host of other relatives and friends.
