Albert M. Bargman, 67, of 1061 Highland, Napoleon, died late Saturday afternoon in St. Vincent Hospital, Toledo.
Born August 30, 1913, in Napoleon, he was the son of Paul and Lena (Zenz) Bargman. He married Loris Spiess Northcutt on April 5, 1943, and she survives.
Mr. Bargman was a United States Army Veteran ot World War II. He served in the European Theater, where he was decorated with several military medals, including three bronze stars and the Purple Heart, with two oak leaf clusters.
He was a lifetime member of the Napoleon chapter, Disabled American Veterans; a life charter member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars Post, Liberty Center; a life member of the 94th Infantry Division Association and a member of Napoleon Elks Lodge #929. He was the first charter life member ol Bert G. Taylor American Legion Post #300, Napoleon.
A member of Liberty Center United Methodist Church, the deceased was a retired crew chief with Rossford Ordinance Fire department and a sales representative/distributor for Firefighter Company, Dayton.
Surviving, besides his wife, is a sister, Mrs. John (Pauline) Hughes, Battle Creek, Michigan.
Funeral services will be held Tuesday, 2 p.m., at Walker Mortuary, the Reverend Thomas Hanover officiating. Interment will be in Youngs Cemetery, Liberty Center, where military graveside services will be conducted by several county veterans association units.
Friends may call at the mortuary until 9 p.m. tonight. A memorial service will be conducted by the DAV Post tonight, 7:30 p.m., at the mortuary.
The family suggests any memorials be made to Liberty Center United Methodist Church.
