Mary Estella Bare was born near Lancaster, O., Oct. 9, 1879. She was the youngest daughter of Jacob F. and Elizabeth Schriner Bare.
She came to this vicinity in 1901 and spent the rest of her life here.
In January 1902 she was converted at Victory Chapel church near Liberty Center, under the preaching of Rev. and Mrs. L. M. Davis. She was a member of that church until Oct. 5, 1941, when she was taken into the Nazarene church in Wauseon by the Rev. Nellie Applegate.
She spent most of her life near Wauseon and worked several seasons at the Winorr Canning Co.
She was a devoted Christian and was loved by all who knew her.
Two brothers, Darius and Frank Bare, and one sister, Anna Schultz, preceded her in death.
She leaves to mourn: one niece, Mrs. Luella Patrick, of Napoleon, O.; cousins, and many friends.
Funeral services were conducted from the Edgar funeral home on Wednesday afternoon, March 23 at 2:30 o’clock, Rev. Nellie Applegate officiating. Interment was made in Young’s cemetery, Liberty Center.
