Frank William, son of Jacob F. and Sarah (Heft) Bare, was born in Fairfield county, Lancaster, O., on Sept. 2, 1871, and departed this life at the Henry County hospital on Feb. 24, 1953, aged 81 years, 5 months and 22 days.
He came to Liberty Center when 16 years of age and spent the rest of his life near Liberty Center.
On Nov. 15, 1915, he was united in marriage to Cora. E. Wagner. To this union twin girls were born. One daughter died in infancy.
His companion preceded him in death just five years to the day.
He leaves to mourn, his daughter, Mrs. Louella Patrick, of Napoleon; one grandson, Doyle Dean Patrick; one sister, Miss. Stella Bare, of Wauseon; three stepdaughters; Mrs. James Mengerink, Mrs. Henry Durham, and Mrs. Roscoe Durham, of Napoleon; threes stepdaughters and one stepson having preceded him in death; eight step-grandchildren: Rev. Elwin Gee of Meadville, Pa.; Darrell Gee, of Cincinnati; Mrs. Arleen Weaks and Paul Clapp, of Liberty Center; James Mengerink, Jr., of the. U.S. Marines, in Korea; Richard Mengerink, of the U.S. Navy; Larry, Kenneth, and Howard Durham, of Napoleon, besides other relatives and a host of friends.
