Mrs. Sarah Baker Dies in Toledo

Mrs. Sarah E. Baker, 66, for many years a resident of this community, died in St. Vincent’s hospital in Toledo on Sunday evening, November 16, after an illness of several months. Prior to the time of her removal to the hospital about three weeks ago, she had been living with her daughter, Mrs. Harold Studer, of Neapolis.

The body was removed to the Newill-Planson funeral home in Delta. Funeral services will be held at Victory Chapel on Wednesday afternoon (today) at 2:00 p.m. Interment will be made in Young’s cemetery here.

Mrs. Baker is survived by nine daughters, two sons, and several grandchildren. Her husband and one son, Earl, preceded her in death. Three of the children, Vane and Harold Saul, and Mrs. Charles Starkey, live in Liberty Center.
