Marie Baker, 93, of Liberty Center died Saturday at Country View Haven of Napoleon.
Born June 22, 1904, in Malinta, she was the daughter of Lemuel and Elizabeth (Delph) Ordway. On Aug. 28, 1930, she married Charles Baker, who preceded her in death on July 28, 1988.
She was a former clerk for the Village, of Liberty Center and a member of the Order of the Eastern Star.
She is survived by a son, Robert of Napoleon; a daughter, Luetta Briner of Hendersonville, Tenn.; five grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
She was also preceded in death by two brothers, Phillip and Frederich Ordway; a sister, Fay Gunter; and a grandson.
Services will be 11 a.m. Tuesday at the Wright Funeral Home of Liberty Center, Rev. Martin Denes officiating. Interment will be at Youngs Cemetery of Liberty Center.
Visitation will be today from 4-8 p.m. at the funeral home.
The family suggests memorials be made to the Liberty Center Fire Department, American Heart Association or a charity of the donor's choice.
