Mrs. Emma Babcock, 94, Road 7, Liberty Center, died Sunday, June 9 in Northcrest Nursing Home, Napoleon.
She was born Nov. 30, 1890 in Traskwood, Ark., the daughter of Albert and Betty (Crowell) Quantz. She married Rollie M. Babcock on Dec. 18, 1913 and he preceded her in death on Aug. 5, 1969.
Mrs. Babcock was a retired packer from the McCord Corp. in Wauseon, a member of the Liberty Center United Methodist Church and the WSCS.
Surviving are a son, Orville, Ayersville; five daughters, Mrs. Frank (Vernice) Deller, Rhodes, Mich., Mrs. Lawrence (Lena) Lange, Napoleon, Mrs. Marie Keeler, Sylvania, Mrs. Lawrence (Coral) Kessler, Liberty Center, and Mrs. Clint (Joan) Williams, Napoleon; 23 grandchildren; 52 great-grandchildren and five great-great-grandchildren.
Services were held Wednesday, June 12 in the Croll-Wrlght Funeral Home, Liberty Center, with Rev. Roselin Runnells officiating. Interment was in Youngs Cemetery.
The family suggests that memorials may be made to a charity of the donor’s choice.
