Maxine F. Armbruster, 58, 791 Cherry St., Liberty Center, died Tuesday afternoon at Henry County Hospital.
She was born March 13, 1927 in Hebron, to Homer and Blanche (Mitchell) Gorley. She married Robert L. Armbruster on Aug. 21, 1971 and he survives.
Maxine was a cook at Maumee Youth Camp for seven years, retiring in 1983.
Surviving besides her husband is her father in Mt. Vernon, Ohio; two daughters, Mrs. Sue Ault, Fostoria and Mrs. Robert (Ronda) Wentworth, Liberty Center; two sons, Robert Kaufmann, Potrero, California and Ronald Bowers, at home; three brothers, Donald, Liberty Center, John and Homer both of Mt. Vernon; five sisters, Mrs. Kenneth (Kay) Klippinger, Mrs. Ralph (Mary Lou) Brown, Mrs. Dwight (Floretta) McComment, Mrs. Jim (Shirley) Denuitt and Betty all of Mt. Vernon; two grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be after 2 p.m. on Friday at Croll-Wright Funeral Home, Liberty Center.
Services on Saturday will be private, with Rev. Isaac Johnston officiating. Burial will follow at Young Cemetery, Liberty Center.
Family suggests memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society or to a Charity of the donors choice.
