Loretta Austin Anderson was born at Oberlin, Ohio, June 2, 1860. She received her early education in her native town. In February of 1880 she was united in holy wedlock with James A. Anderson.To this union were born two children, a son who died in infancy, and a daughter, Pearl L. Seitz. In 1800 she and her husband moved to Liberty Center, where for years they were engaged in the furniture and undertaking business. In her early years the deceased was a member of the Christian Church. For the past three years, however, she received spiritual care and instruction in the Lutheran Church, in which faith she died. She passed away on Tuesday, October 9, at 6 a. m. at the age of seventy-four years, four months and seven days. Those who mourn her departure are one daughter, Mrs. Pearl Seitz and her husband, and one granddaughter, Loretta Seitz. The husband of the deceased preceded her in death twenty-one years ago.
Funeral services were held at the home of the deceased on Thursday afternoon, October 11, at 2:30 o’clock with the Rev. H. L. Krueckeberg of St. Paul’s Lutheran Church officiating. Interment was made in Young’s cemetery.
