George Washington Yocom

George Washington Yocom was born on March 20, 1876 in Napoleon, Henry County, Ohio, and died on October 10, 1938. He married Addaline Kremer on February 17, 1895. George and Addaline had the following children.

Ernest Ellsworth Yocom was born on December 1895, and died on March 3, 1906. He was playing with a cap gun and put the new and the used caps in the same pocket. Also in his pocket were some pieces of hard candy. The family surmizes that some of the powder got on the candy he was eating. He complained of stomach cramps at suppertime and before the doctor could be summoned, Ernest had died.

John George Yocom was born on July 12, 1897 and died on February 17, 1965. He married Sue Johns and had John George, Jr. and Louis Sue. John George, Jr., married Lois Stover on August 31, 1943 and they had Patricia Sue and Tina Lee. Patricia married, first, William Phillips and had a daughter, Carol Sue. She divorced William Phillips, and married Floyd Craft. Tina is a student at Bowling Green State University. Lois married Charles Walter Messinger and they have Jonathon married Constance Elizabeth Coss, and Susan married Rodney J. Fillmore.

Anna Marie Yocom was born on September 30, 1898 and married Christopher Clarence Dahm on July 26, 1915 and had four sons, Clarence E., Lester E., Christopher J., and Richard E. Clarence E. married Dorothy Hemmer and they have Phyllis Jean who married Robert Decker and has two daughters, Rochelle Marie and Deverie Kay. Lester E. married Emma Staley and they have Larry, Sharon and Bruce. Sharon married Charles Hedberg and they have Michael Allen, a student at Bowling Green State University, Michelle Ann, and Tanya. Larry married Mary Bakewell and they have Gary. They are now divorced. Bruce married Kathy Todaro and they have Amy Elizabeth and Christa Marie. Christopher J. married Marie Davis and they have Patty Ann and Connie Jean. Patty married Wesley A. Royal and has a son, Chad I. Royal. They divorced, and Patty married John Thomas Pascoe. Connie married Richard J. Sims and they had Christine Marie and William Christopher. They are divorced. Richard E. married Patricial Braun and they had John Christopher, Carol June, Joel Edwin, David Richard, Mark Thomas and Amy Elizabeth who was stillborn. John Christopher married Sharon Teasel. Carol June married John Weyer and they have John Weyer, Jr., Joel and David have not married. Mark is a senior in high school.

Oral Franklin Yocom married Violet McDonald and they have three daughters, Lila Fern, Violet Marie and Shirley Jean. Lila married Burl M. Reichert and they had Paul Eugene, Patsy Jean, Gwen Louise and Mark Thomas. Paul married Myra Keisler and they have Daniel, Jeremy, and Emily. Patsy married Adam Dzeskewicz and has Patrick Adam and Amara. Gwen married Paul Clarkson and they have Paula and Katie. Mark has not married. Violet married James Payne Ford and they have Bonnie, Susan, James Oral and Linda. Bonnie married Alanson Robert Willett and they have Alanson, Jr., Denise, James Patrick and Christopher. Susan married Lawrence Hasenstab. James and Linda are not married. Shirley married James Bernard Cairns and they adopted Marilyn, Michael, Denise and Timothy.
