Adam Henry Yocum

Adam Henry Yocom was born on March 29, 1869 in Napoleon, Henry County, Ohio, and died on December 14, 1954. He married Mary Kremer Yocom on May 27, 1894. Mary was born on October 29, 1874 in Napoleon, and died on February 5, 1943. Her parents were George and Mary Konzen Zimmer Kremer. The children of Adam and Mary Yocom were as follows.

Agnes Cecilia was born on January 17, 1895 and married Arthur James Bollman on June 24, 1914. They had the following children: Floyd Bollman and Leora Bollman. Leora Bollman married Efferson Towle and they had Joyce who married Arthur Otis and Douglas who married Catherine. Joyce and Arthur have Sherry, Richard and Sandy. Douglas and Kathy have a daughter, Wendy.

Mary Leona Yocom was born on January 2, 1897 and married Clarence Verne Hahn on January 17, 1914 and they had Chalmer and Robert. Chalmer married twice. First to Henrietta Sager and they had Marilyn and Daryl. Marilyn married David Ellis. Chalmer married, second, Betty Riebesel and they had Bernard, Terry, Kenneth and Karen. Robert Hahn married twice. First to Opal Gillen and they had a daughter, Rosalie. Robert married, second, after his wife's death, and he and Dorothy had a daughter, Nettie Leona, born December 31, 1959.

William Adam Yocom was born on November 12, 1898 and married Elsie Evangeline Babcock and they had a son, Julian Adam Yocom, born February 13, 1919, and Julian married Ruth McElroy.

Susan Amanda (Mandy) Yocom, born October 30, 1900, married Clifford Zook and they had Leon Edward married Connie Basinger who had a son, Devin Zook.

Ellen Louise Yocom was born on April 5, 1902 and married Charles Ratzlaff and they had Mildred Eileen, Dorothy Jean and Charles Eugene. Mildred married S.O. Rhymer and they had a son, Steven, who married Jeanne Angles and had a daughter, Sherri Lynn. Dorothy Jean married Playford E. Cline and had Alan Asa and Bradley Mark. Alan married Linda Estes on February 14, 1976. Charles E. married Evelyn Jean and they had Mi chael Bruce, Tracy Lynn, Julie Ann and Kelly.

Margaret Esther Yocom was born on January 17, 1907 and married Roy Darroll and they had Ethel Genevine and Roy Edmond. Ethel married, first, Samuel Engle and had a daughter, Sharon who married Richard Aronson and had children, Heather Ann and Kevin Michael. Ethel Darroll Engle married, second, Alfred William Holmes and they had a daughter, Susan. Mr. Holmes adopted Sharon Engle. Roy and Betty had four children, a son that died in infancy, Royetta, Cathy and Margaret. Cathy married Louis Raj and they had Louis Raj and Roy Joseph Raj.

Frederick Julian Yocom was born on December 27, 1912 and married Bessie Bell Wigfield and had James, Carolyn and Mary Louise. James married Layina Grieser and they have Cindy, Stephen and Dawn. Carolyn married Robert Wentworth and they have Robert, Patsy Sue and Roland Gene. Mary Louise married Darroll Froelick and they have David and Donna Ann.
