Weirauch Family

The original spelling of the name was Weirich but the name was changed after the line came to Henry County, Ohio, in 1847.

John and Elizabeth Weirich lived in Lebanon County, Pennsylvania. Their son, John, Jr., was born in 1816 in Lebanon County. In 1842, in Wayne County, Ohio, John, Jr., married Hannah Gramling, daughter of John and Mary Gramling, of Dauphin County, Pennsylvania. Hannah was born in 1823 in Dauphin County. John Jr. and Hannah had fourteen children.

Mary died on April 15, 1843, at birth. Franklin was born in 1844 in Wayne County, Ohio, and married in 1866, in Fulton County, Ohio, to Ma hala Wagoner, born in Sandusky County, Ohio in 1844. Frank and Mahala had five children. They were Mary E., Sarah E., Susan B., James F. and John A. Franklin served in the 64th Ohio Volunteer Infantry during the Civil War.

Amanda died in 1851. John died it 1851, both from diptheria, it thought. Sarah was born in 1851. Charles died in 1860. The other children were Emma, Daniel, Albert, Edward, and Clara.

Weirauch Family

John and Elizabeth Weirauch had several children. John Weirauch, Jr. was born in 1816 in Lebanon County, Pennsylvania but which child he was is not known, but thought possibly the eldest.

John Weirauch, Jr. married Hannah Gramling in 1842 in Wayne County, Ohio. Hannah was the daughter of John and Mary Gramling and was born in Dauphin County, Pennsylvania in 1823. John, Jr. and Hannah Weirauch had fourteen children.

Frank Weirauch, son of John, Jr. and Hannah Weirauch, was born in 1844 in Wayne County, Ohio. He married, in Fulton County, Ohio, Mahala Wagoner in 1866. Mahala was born in 1844 in Sandusky County, Ohio. Five children were born to Frank and Mahala Weirauch. They were Mary E., Sarah E., Susan B., James F., and John A.

Sarah was born in Washington Township, Henry County, on June 2, 1868. She married James Howard Davis in 1885 in Michigan. James was born at Colton, Washington Township, on September 2, 1865.

Catherine Weirauch married Joseph Motter, and Elizabeth Weirauch mar?

ried Emanuel Motter, sons of George Motter, in a double ceremony on April 5, 1860.
