Stykemain Family

William Stykemain married Almeda Holmes, born October 2, 1878, Venice, Erie County, Ohio, daughter of William and Emma Fawcett Chamberlin Holmes.

William and Almeda lived in Napoleon, Ohio, and later moved to Fostoria, Ohio. There were eight children born to them: Vera Louise, Alta Katherine, Robert William, Ortez Delbert, Emeline Emma, Ruth Danelda, Erma Almeda, and Fernelia Pearl.

Vera Louise Stykemain, born April 18, 1896, married Clayton Lee, lives in Fostoria, Ohio, and their children are William and Bernard Lee.

Alta Katherine Stykemain, born February 19, 1901, married Frank Waltermeyer, lives in Fostoria, Ohio, and their children are Regina, Joanne, Robert, Frank Jr., James and Edwin Waltermeyer.

Robert William Stykemain, born October 9, 1903, married, first, Norma Hartsook. After her death in 1965, he married Leafie and lives in Fostoria, Ohio.

Ortez Delbert (Honey) Stykemain, born April 23, 1905, was killed by a train at Trenton, Michigan, in June, 1934.

Emeline Emma Stykemain, born December 8, 1907, lives in Toledo, Ohio, and never married.

Fernelia Pearl (Bunch) Stykemain, born October 15, 1909, married George Copeland, lives in Fosteria,

Ohio, and has a daughter, Virginia Copeland.

Ruth Danelda Stykemain, born March 10, 1913, married Harry Fill- hart, lives in Fostoria, and their children are Patricia, Barbara, Jack and Clara.

Erma Almeda Stykemain, born August 29, 1915, married on November 26, 1936, to Henry Eggers. They live in Freedom Township, Henry County, Ohio. Their three children are Carl William, Thomas Henry, and Cynthia Ann Eggers. Carl William lives at home. He was born on February 7, 1939 and is not married. Thomas Henry, born May 17, 1942, married Bonnie Clady, and has four children: Matthew, born July 14, 1965, Dawn, born March 25, 1967, Benjamin Henry, born April 27, 1976, and Timothy Allen, born December 16, 1977. They lost one child in 1978. Cynthia Ann Eggers, born March 19, 1948, married Douglas Box and lives near Grand Rapids, Ohio. They have two children, Geoffrey Neal, born August 20, 1974, and Wesley Douglas, born May 20, 1976.
