Bishop Family

Elmer Wilson Bishop was born on September 28, 1916 near Belmore, Ohio. He was the son of Cornelius Justin Bishop and Hilda Baden Bishop. Elmer married Edna Blue who was born on June 13, 1920 near Hamler, Ohio, the daughter of Franklin Cortez and Lucy Anderson Blue. Edna's family is in Volume I of this series under the Blue Family history. Elmer and Edna divorced and she is now Mrs. Julian Grant. The Bishops had six children.

David Lee Bishop was born on December 31, 1937 near Hamler, Ohio. He married Eva Jean Andonian who was born April 4, 1941 at McComb, Ohio. Their children are Jeff David, born April 17, 1958; Roger Lee, born June 4, 1960; and Kathy Jo, born July 9, 1963.

Ronald Gene Bishop was born on September 14, 1940 near Hamler, Ohio and married Diane Vogelgesang on April 12, 1969. She was born on December 17, 1945 at Lima, Ohio. Their daughter, Kristin Kay, was born on January 8, 1975 at Wayne, Michigan.

Vicki Jo Bishop was born on March 26, 1944 at Hamler, Ohio. Vicki married Donald L. Gray at Adrian, Michigan. Donald was born on October 1, 1941 at Malinta, Ohio. They are the parents of three children: Tammy Jo was born on November 17, 1963 at Defiance, Ohio; Barbara Ann was born on September 18, 1965 at Defiance, Ohio; and Douglas D. was born on June 26, 1971 at Napoleon, Ohio.

Elmer Bishop, Jr. was born on August 31, 1946 at McComb, Ohio. He lives at the Northwest District Development Center of Retardation in Toledo, Ohio.

Rebecca Sue Bishop was born on May 22, 1952 at Defiance, Ohio. On June 5, 1970, she married Sammy Jo Shanks in Napoleon, Ohio. He was born on July 23, 1950 at Napoleon, Ohio. They are the parents of two children. Jason Samuel Shanks was born on September 23, 1970 at Napoleon, Ohio. Sara Rebecca Shanks was born on May 1, 1976 at Napoleon, Ohio.

Ricky Lynn Bishop was born on July 14, 1957 at Bowling Green, Ohio. He is not married and works for Eldor Von Deylon Plumbing and Heating.
