Born October 14, 1875 in Henry County near Hamler, Ohio, she married George Reddersen on April 27, 1893. George was a meat cutter and owned meat markets in Hamler, Lima, and Antwerp. Wilhelmine died May 3, 1915, at the age of 39 during childbirth. She had a tumor during pregnancy which spread through her body. George Reddersen spent his retirement years at Hamilton Lake, Indiana. He died in Lima, March 18, 1940.
They had five children: Karl, Ida, Edward, George, and Albert.
Karl born November 2, 1894, married Laeta Trice, born July 15, 1896, and had a Tailor-Men's Store in Lima, Ohio. Karl died July 24, 1974, at 79 and Laeta died August 15, 1972, at 75. They had two sons: Robert C., wife Ruth Hoverman - child Robert and has a Men's Store in Lima, Ohio; William G., wife Ruth - children William and Molly and is in real estate in Warren, Ohio.
Ida born October 5, 1896, married Arnold Arps, born June 5, 1899, on January 1, 1919, and lived in the Lima, Ohio, and Florida area. Ida died April 23, 1973, at 75. They had three children: Herbert, Anton, and Darlene. Herbert Carl, born Oct. 16, 1920, married Ethel Bradford, born Jan. 30, 1919, on Sept. 27, 1946, and was a resort owner in Ohio and Michigan. He died July 2, 1958, at 37. Anton G., born March 6, 1923, married Caroline Alvey, born Aug. 4, 1928, on Aug. 12, 1950, and is with General Motors at Bellbrook, Ohio. They have two children, Victoria Maria, born Feb. 20, 1955, and Christina, born Feb. 6, 1958. Darlene, born Aug. 5, 1930, married Robert Griffith, born Sept. 24, 1920, on Sept. 28, 1973, and lives in Lantana, Fla. They have one child, Robert Flannery, born Feb. 16, 1955.
Edward, born Feb. 14, 1899, died in infancy.
George, born November 9, 1903, wife Dorthy, was with Ohio Power in Lima. They had one daughter Marilyn, born May 19, 1931, married to Roger Nation - children Georgie, born Nov. 21, 1971, and Leslie Brown, born Oct. 10, 1956, from Mobile, Ala.
