David's father married twice. David, Jane, Susan, Julia and Sylvester were children of the first marriage. The second marriage was to Catherine Baker and Elijah and Emma Osborn were children of that marriage. Emma Osborn married Andrew Hardy. David's father died at the age of seventy-six and Catherine died at age of eighty years.
Jane Osborn, sister of David, married Catharine's brother, Emanuel Hull.
