It was the first fatality in the park's history, however, there has been another fafal accident since that time. No one heard him fall. Following Lynn on the trail were James Neuhauser 34, Norman Landes 15, William Franz 16, all of Napoleon, and Jerry Hurd 20 of Florida, Ohio. The group had been working in the area for Neuhauser Hatcheries, Inc. Lynn was a member of St. Paul United Methodist Church and had been active in its youth organization as well as in scouting.
