Robert and Margaret Beckham were residents of Licking County, Ohio. Several of their children came to the Henry County area.
Their daughter, Jane, or Jennie, was born in Licking County on September 22, 1848. She married Heiro A. Fauver and resided in Ridgeville Corners and is included in the Fauver history.
Elkjah Caldwell Beckham was born on June 28, 1841 in Licking County. He served in the 76th Ohio Volunteer Infantry during the War of Rebellion and enlisted at Newark, Ohio. He married Louise Beek in Union County, Ohio. His daughter, Bessie, married Chester London of North Lewisburg, Ohio. Elkjah and his family later came to Wauseon, Ohio, where he died on
September 21, 1918 and is buried in the Wauseon cemetery.
Effie Beckham married Joseph Leatherman and lived in Napoleon, Ohio.
Oscar B. Beckham lived for some years in Henry County then moved to Sterling, Kansas in 1893, and in 1918 lived at Sulphur, Oklahoma.
Elzia Beckham married, raised a family, and lived in Union County, Ohio all her lifetime.
Another brother, name not remembered, took up the legal profession and became a judge but did not live in the Henry County area.
