Fred Meyer Family

Fred Meyer, as a youth, cleared timber and woods from land so it could be used for farming, during the winter months. During the summer months he worked on the Lake boats of the Great Lakes systems..

Fred married Mary Sheele and they were farmers in Freedom Township, Henry County, Ohio, all their married lives.

They had eleven children.

Sophia married John Gerken and their children were Minnie Holers, Albert, Fred and Edwin Gerken.

Henry married Minnie Holers and had Theodore, Edmund, Paul and Eldor Meyer.

Herman married Minnie Rohrs and their children were Leola Cordes, Dorothy Buchhop, Arnold Meyer, and Marie Saunders.

William married Ida Kruse. Their children were Anna, Alvin, Albert, William, Raymond, and Alma Volk- man.

Fred married Emilie Bischoff and had Clara Kahlke, Arthur Meyer, Norma Genter, and Denelda Rohrs.

George married Katie Behrman and their children were Fred Meyer, Esther Tilse, and Lydia Wesche Corressel.

Minnie married Fred Dishop and the Dishop children were Amelia, Emma Warncke, Ernest, Anna Behr- man, Herman, Fred and Elmer.

Ida married Henry Kruse and had Elmer, Fred, and Albert Kruse.

Emelie married Ferdinand Bindeman and their children were Edwin, Caroline Meyer, Eldor, Christine Wiemken, and Regina Rohrs.

August married Mary Kruse and their children were Laura Moehrman and Ruth.
