Mauk-Metzgar

John Mauk and Susan Metzgar were born and married in Pennsylvania. They died in Henry County, Ohio, about 1874.

They had nine children. Not all the names of the children are known.

Their son, George Mauk, served during the Civil War in the Union Army.

Son, Jacob Mauk, came to Henry County, Ohio, in September, 1866. He married Susan Harmon in 1869. Susan was a daughter of Daniel and Rosanna Harmon. Jacob and Susan had three children. They were Nora, Harry and Charles Mauk.
