The Augusta Schwiebert Lindhorst Family

Daughter of Henry and Anna Schwiebert.

Born December 13, 1873, near Okolona, she married Herman Lindhorst on May 2, 1895. Herman was born in Germany on April 7, 1873, and came to America as a young man. His occupation was a molder and they lived in Hamler. They had one daughter Hildegard Augusta who was born on April 23, 1896. Augusta died on April 27, 1896 at the age of 22. Herman died in 1945 at the age of 72.

Hildegard married Herman F. Guelde on July 9, 1913, and operated a hatchery and farmed around Hamler all their lives. They had six children: Herman R., Anita, Robert, Marguerita, Richard, and Tony.

Herman R. born June 18, 1914, married Johanna Von Seggern and was a welder living in Hamler. They had 2 daughters and 5 sons: Geraldine married to Laurence Imbrock - children Kelly Ann and William; Shirley Ann married to Ken Meyer - children Beth, Brad, Curt, Jeff, and Elizabeth; Herman F. married Carole Grubaugh - children Susan and Amy; Eugene married Linda Craft - children Tracy and Gina; James married Suzanne Wesche - children Clark and Donovan; Gary married Linda Monteith - child Peter. Herman R. passed away March 31, 1973, at 58.

Anita born April 11, 1916, married Eldor Eickhoff and they lived at Hamler. They had 2 daughters and one son. Karen married to Karl Weick - children Kirk, Kyle, and Kristopher; Robert married to Jan Smith - children Jenny and Jody; Konnie married to Bruce Meyer. Anita passed away April 23, 1970, at 54.

Robert Carl born Feb. 16, 1918, married La Verne Jansen II. He was a flight engineer in World War II and was killed in service June 15, 1944. They had one son Robert Carl, married to Gail Weir.

Marguerite born Dec. 29, 1919, married John Franz who is in real estate in Maitland, Fla. They have 3 daughters and 2 sons. Annette married to Richard Torne - children Krista and Richard; Mary Jane married to John Rob erts - children Lynne and John Jr.; Betty married to Jack Powers with daughter Christine; John Franz, Jr.; and Robert.

Richard born Oct. 15, 1928, married Betty Eis and is in sales in Kissimmee, Fla. They have 4 daughters and 2 sons. John married to Judy Williams - children Beth and John Jr.; Cynthia married to Kent Bass - children Eric and Jeanne; Deborah married to Neil Taylor; Cheryl married to Gary Kelly - child Jamie; Robert; Lisa.

Tony born June 29, 1930, married Marilyn Trutt and is a builder in Hamler. They have 2 sons Jay and Doug.
