Frederick Lesh and his wife Margaret moved into Pleasant Township of Henry County in 1836. In the Biographical History of Henry and Fulton County published in 1880 his name is spelled Loesch.
George A., son of Fred and Margaret Lesh, was born Oct. 28, 1839 in Henry County and died Sept. 25, 1877. George married Elizabeth Young (Dec. 7, 1842-Mar. 16, 1928).
Fred W., son of George A. and Elizabeth Lesh, was a mail carrier in Henry Co. for many years. Fred married Minnie Mae Wahl of Henry Co. Fred and Minnie had two children — Homer and Beryl. A story is told of Christian and Elizabeth Deckrosh and Fred and Minnie Lesh who lived about half a mile from each other in Pleasant Township. Elizabeth Deckrosh and Fred Lesh were sister and brother. A big oak tree was halfway between their homes. They would call over the phone and the children would meet at the oak tree. Thus they would send the yeast from one family to the other to make bread.
Homer, son of Fred and Minnie Lesh, married Nettie Eding of Henry County. They have one daughter, Dorothy, two grandchildren and four great grandchildren. Homer and Nettie lived in Henry Co. until 1957 when they moved near Grand Rapids, Ohio (Wood Co.)
