Kruse Family

Johann Kruse was born in 1827 and died in 1908. He married Sophia Wendt who was born in 1825 and died in 1917. Both were born in Prussia, Germany.

Their children were John, Fred and Minnie Kruse Rohrs.

John Kruse, born 1860, died 1936, married Josephine Hinze in March, 1881. See the Hinze family history. THey have eleven children: Albert, William, Edward, Nettie Kruse Brandt, Bertha Kruse Schroeder, Frieda Kruse Locke, John, Mary Kruse Detterer, Pauline Kruse, Martha Kruse, and Ida K ruse.

Albert Kruse was born in 1883 and died in 1952. He was married on April 11, 1907 to Mary Schlotz who was born in 1886 and died in 1952. Their issue were Arthur, born January 26, 1908, married Leona Korte, born February 28, 1913, daughter of Albert and Leah Schulty Korte. Arthur's son, Lawrence Albert Kruse was born on April 3, 1938 and married Geraldine Graber in 1966 and had David in 1967 and Mary in 1970; Elmer Kruse married and had a son, Wayne, and a daughter, Jane Kruse. Isabella Kruse married. William Wesche and had James, Edward, and Eugene Wesche.

Bertha Kruse married Eldor Schroeder on September 4, 1919. Bertha was born on March 25, 1910.

Mary Schlotz Kruse was born in 1886 and died in 1952 and was a daughter of Gottleib Schlotz, born Schlicten, Germany, and Catharine Leonhardt Schlotz, born in Strasbourg, Germany. Mary's brother married and had two daughters and a son, John Schlotz who married Kate (Mae) Leiner, lives in Grand Rapids, Ohio, and has no issue.
