William Knepley married Caroline Reisch and had two sons. Twin daughters died in infancy. William was a twin to David. Ernie married but had no children; Arthur married Inez Robinson and had three children: 1. Wilbur died in a bicycle accident; 2. Mrs. Eldon (Norma) Kessler had two children (a. Tom married Marsha Walter and b. Mrs. Gary (Sandy) Foreman); 3. Harold married Marilyn Homan and had three children (a. Mrs. Duane (Susan) Von Deylen, b. Steve, and c. Shelly).
The earlier generations were mostly farmers, carpenters and mechanics. They also enjoyed hunting and fishing, not only as a necessity, but also as recreation.
The later generations have branched out into the shops and factories, and into the professional fields. Many attended colleges and universities, and one graduated from West Point.
Many members of the family saw active duty in World War I, World War II, Korean and Vietnam Wars.
