Huston Family

Jeremiah Huston died at the age of twenty-five years while serving in Company F., 68th Ohio Volunteer Infantry during the Civil War. He had married Mary May and they had three children: Louisa, married and had three children; Samuel D. and Lewis R. Huston.

Philip Huston, brother of Jeremiah, served in the 14th Ohio Volunteer Infantry. He married a sister of Mary May Huston, Alcetta May. They had two daughters.

Margaret Huston, sister of Jeremiah, married John Dancer. Their daughter, Catharine Dancer was born in Ashland County, Ohio on January 2, 1848. Parents married at Mansfield, Ohio, and in 1854 came to Florida.

Bessie May, youngest child of Samuel and Catharine Dancer Kaylor May (widow of Samuel Kaylor), married Frank Leonhardt of Flroida, Ohio, and had two children, Donald and Catharine Leonhardt.
