Hively Family

John Hively was born in 1800, and he died in January of 1883. He was past eighty-two years old when he died.

He first came to Adams Township, then Henry County, now Defiance County, in 1832. Later he moved to Ridgeville Township, Henry County.

He was one of the first settlers in the Ridgeville area.
