Hinze Family

Johann Heinze or John Hinze was born in 1814 at Altmarket, Prussia, Germany, and died in 1906. He married Sophia Wilse who was born in 1816 and died in 1900.

Their daughter, Josephine Hinze, was born in 1860 and died in 1950. She married in March, 1881, John Kruse who was born in 1860 and died in 1936, and was the son of Johann and Sophia Wendt Kruse. See the Kruse family history.

William Hinze was born in 1816 and died in 1896. About 1846/47, he married Mary Will Daum, a widow who had two daughters, Dora and Charlotte Minnie Daum. Mary was born in 1816 in Prussia and died in 1890 and emigrated to America in 1854.

William and Mary Hinze had two children: Mary and Reinhardt Hinze.

Among the Hinze marriages are Charlotte Hinze who married Christopher (Christian) Nagel on January 7, 1868; and Mary Hinze who married Charles Nagel on February 18, 1870. On February 21, 1866, Doratha Hinze married William Nagel.
