Michael Hill Family

Michael Hill was granted a license to marry as a minister of the Church of Christ Christian Church on November 4, 1852 in Henry County.

George W. Hill was granted a license to marry as a minister of the same church on December 8, 1869.

Michael Hill married Sarah Bost. They lived in Perry County, Ohio, when their daughter, Eliza, called Epsey, was born. Their oldest daughter, Mary Rachel, was born on July 25, 1830 in Perry County, Ohio. Rachel married Samuel Edwards, and Epsey married George W. Edwards, Samuel's son by his first wife, Mary Aultman Edwards. Samuel's daughter, Elizabeth Edwards married David Hill, son of Michael and Sarah Bost Hill.

A list of children born to Michael and Sarah Bost Hill does not exist in the Historical Society's records.

David and Elizabeth Edwards Hill were married on August 8, 1857 and had six children: Zene, Phoebe, George, Squire, Vansey and Oliver Hill.
